Jane Elliott seems to be aware of her white privilege from what I've watched of her. She plays the role of the oppressor of the blue eyed students in the experiment and instead of telling the students how they should be reacting or how other people's lives are, she makes them experience a taste of it themselves and encourages the students of color to voice their thoughts and feelings themselves.
