And let me add to that last "ask" that drinking Kool-Aid could in fact be a metaphor for opening your eyes, as actual Kool-Aid was spiked with LSD-25 at the Acid Tests back in the '60s. That's what I think of whenever someone says "drink the Kool-Aid".
